Our Fundraising Initiatives
Indonesia Climate Change Education Program
The Indonesia Climate Change Education Program is a community-based initiative created to educate and empower Indonesian youth through climate science, environmental action, and local engagement. Run by Nature and Oceans Adventures (NOA) and supported by the NOA Fund, the program is offered exclusively to students across Indonesia, with a special partnership with Regina Pacis School and several local NGOs.
Students begin their learning journey with workshops on climate change, sea level rise, and Indonesia’s critical role in the global environmental landscape. As the world’s largest island nation, Indonesia is on the frontline of the climate crisis—facing rising temperatures, increasing floods, and the threat of submersion for coastal and island communities.
Participants take part in hands-on clean-up projects in rivers across West Java, learning about pollution, water systems, and community resilience. The program culminates in a large-scale beach clean-up, connecting students with the impacts of marine debris and the importance of ocean stewardship.
Throughout the program, students engage in interactive lessons, team-based activities, and real-world problem solving—all designed to strengthen their understanding of environmental responsibility and inspire local climate leadership.

Our goal is to reach 500 students annually, expand our training modules on climate and sustainability, and build long-term collaborations with schools and grassroots organizations throughout Indonesia.
By supporting this program, donors invest in the education of future climate leaders and contribute directly to protecting Indonesia’s ecosystems and communities from the growing threats of climate change. Your support helps us provide free access to all students, supply clean-up equipment, and create lasting educational materials for schools and youth groups.
