Welcome to our comprehensive Marine Biology summer program, designed to explore the fascinating world beneath the ocean's surface.In this program, we will explore several key areas of Marine Biology in depth. The course will cover marine vertebrate and invertebrate groups, their habitats, species relationships, conservation efforts, and animal behavior.

Course Curriculum

This curriculum is structured to provide an in-depth understanding of marine life, from the smallest invertebrates to the largest mammals. Over twelve engaging classes, you will delve into the diversity of marine organisms, their unique adaptations, and their crucial roles in ocean ecosystems.

Each class focuses on a specific group of marine life, beginning with a broad introduction to marine biology and progressing through various species, including bony fishes, sharks, sea turtles, seabirds, cetaceans, and more. Marta Fabregas

Marine Biology, Ecology and Zoology Educator

Marta Fabregas is a dedicated marine biologist, educator, and founder of Noa Adventures and Academy, who teaches most of the programs at NOA Academy.

Marta is an absolutely fantastic teacher who knows how to captivate her students with carefully selected material presented in a creative and interactive way. She goes above and beyond by incorporating a variety of resources—documentaries, PowerPoint presentations, news articles, and even real-life experiences—to make the learning experience both engaging and dynamic. Marta's deep knowledge of the subject matter is evident in every lesson, and her passion truly shines through.
