Program Overview

Join us this summer in California for our Pacific Northwest Biodiversity and Sustainability Program. During this experience, we will delve into the biodiversity of the Northwest through a marine biology program guided by experts.
Participants will have the opportunity to scuba dive or snorkel in some of the most pristine and biodiverse marine protected areas in California.
We will hike and learn about elephant seals and other marine mammals during a whale watching tour.
Additionally, we will explore marine biology and conservation projects happening along the northern California coast and actively participate in one of them.
As we travel north, we will visit some of the world's most ancient forests, the redwood groves.
The journey will include visits to sustainable living initiatives and a marine lab.
On our return trip to the city, we will learn from experts about the operations of a marine mammal rescue center.
