Program Overview

Participants will immerse themselves in hands-on marine biology workshops focused on California's biodiversity, ecology, and global marine conservation efforts.
Guided visits and interactive workshops will lead them through the wonders of La Jolla Bay, including hiking, tide pool exploration, snorkeling, and kayaking at La Jolla Shores.
A visit to the Birch Aquarium will provide insights from experts in the field. Engaging in scientific practical activities, a whale watching expedition, and the option for scuba diving or snorkeling at Laguna Beach State Marine Reserve are also highlights.
Explore the pristine waters of The Channel Islands through snorkeling or diving to discover and learn about the local biodiversity.
Learn about sustainable living at a center in Ojai and visit the Marine Mammal Care Center in Los Angeles.
